Really, this title can mean a lot of things at this company. Myself, I am a software developer / software architect. Meaning I get brought in after the deal is agreed, while we are working out the design for the code and I guide junior developers on how to write clean maintainable code they will be able to maintain in 3-5 years. The idea is to make it so the client wants us back because they appreciate our work, not need us back because we are the only ones who can maintain the code.
